Exploring the unknown can be overwhelming for anyone. But for many of us, we process these experiences differently and the impact can be particularly difficult to overcome in an unfamiliar place. Let me help you, from one neurodivergent to another, make the most of your adventures.
I specialize in helping those with concerns in social situations or the unknown in general; my goal is to ensure you feel prepared before and during your adventure. If you are autistic, have ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder or the like and feel like you've been holding back on traveling, let's chat about your travel goals and discuss my services. I may just be that helping hand that brings the world closer to you.
Check out the additional information below and reach out to start the discussion today (because you'll forget for three months if you don't do it now).
For many of us, social anxiety is a big factor in not feeling confident in traveling. To combat this, we can work together to make sure you know where the quieter areas are and how to avoid (or engage in) the crowds as you travel.
Whether it's foods, textures, sounds, or all the above, some things just give us the chills. If you have sensory issues, let me know so I can do my best to help you avoid those triggers and give tips to help you navigate your adventure.
We all know that digestive issues and allergies often times walk hand in hand with living on the spectrum. Give me a heads up on your needs and I am happy to help you choose an adventure that will best accommodate and provide ample options.
At the end of the day, your best chance at a wonderful experience while on vacation is preparation. While the specifics will depend on your personal needs and wants, I will be there at every step of the way during your adventure. I am here to help you overcome those little details that can otherwise become big issues. While we can't account for every possibility, we can prepare for the rule and hope you aren't the exception.
Hands down, cruising is the most neurodivergent friendly form of travel. While the industry offers a wide array of styles and options to customize your experience, they are universally wonderful about accommodating those on the spectrum. In addition to statistically being the safest mode of travel, cruises are the best at accommodating dietary restrictions and sensory issues, and the gentle movement of the ship is often very calming. Not to mention it offers the best value for money!
Craving a land only vacation? I can help you plan and prepare for an all-inclusive resort or a small group tour. We will work together to help you prepare for your destination, and I will be a phone call, text or email away during your trip in the event of the unexpected.
